Mirrors
Each new mirror offers a pretext for experimentation with colors and materials, an opportunity to try out new and interesting contrast. Studio DU maintains an active collaboration with master craftsman trained within the School of Mosaic Art and the Academy of Fine Arts of Ravenna. These individuals have all chosen mosaic as their profession, refuting the twenty-first century's trend in which the handmade is generally relegated to the past. Studio DU highlights the liveliness of contemporary manual creativity and the will to escape from a framework of industrialization and globalization, situating itself as a contemporary "Arts & Crafts".
